Hokkaido in winter has a lot of fun events which cannot be missed!
Now, let me share the model course for enjoying Onneyu Spa while enjoying winter of Hokkaido as well.
Go to "Sapporo Snow Festival" on Day 1! First, take a flight from Tokyo to New Chitose Airport, then go to Sapporo by JR line.
Sapporo Snow Festival is held between 2/6～12!
You can fully enjoy snow sculptures at daytime and also at night with the light up.
You should not miss the view of Snow Festival from "The Sapporo TV Tower" at night!

The 68th Sapporo Snow Festival will be held from Febrary 6th (Mon), 2017 to Febrary 12th (Sun).
※Attention : Tsudome place will be starting from Febrary 1st (Wed), 2017.
Go to Asahikawa from Sapporo on Day 2! After arriving at Asahikawa, visit "Asahikawa Zoo." You can enjoy watching cute winter penguin parade♪
After that, go to Onneyu Spa by taking the interurban bus "Ishikita."
Enjoy the 100% pure fresh Onsen at the ryokan, and be surprised by the taste of "Kaiseki Ryori" (first-class Japanse dinner)!
At night, enjoy the light up of "The snow story of the Onneyu Spa area"♪

Take a walk in the winter forest on Day 3 morning. About 1 hour with the tour guide, enjoy your walk in the white snow world!
Then eat breakfast, and visit "Aquarium of Mountain" and "Kita-kitsune farm" by 9am. There are many highlights like you can see the "frozen water tank" which is unique even in the world!
After Aquarium and farm, take the East Hokkaido Tour Sightseeing Bus "North Liner" to Abashiri and Shiretoko.
Enjoy watching the drift ice from "The Aurora Ship," then go to the world heritage, Shiretoko. Heal your fatigue at Utoro Onsen, and that's the end of the long day♪

On Day 4, fully enjoy Shiretoko!
In the morning, join the "Winter Shiretoko Goko Lakes Trekking" (number of participants is limited).
Wear the snowshoes and trek into the visionary world of winter Shiretoko Goko Lakes.
Then enjoy "Drift Ice Walking" in the afternoon. Ware the dry suit and walk on the drift ice, fall into the sea♪You can experience it only in this season!
At night, you can also enjoy "Shiretoko Drift-Ice Festival" starting from this year! （January 30th to Febrary 28th）
On the last day, go back to Memambetsu Airport from Shiretoko, then fly back to Tokyo.
If you are taking late afternoon flight, you will have time to go sightseeing in Abashiri.
It would be fun to experience the extremely cold prison at "Abashiri Prison Museum."
Or, you can take the long distance bus "Eagle Liner" from Shiretoko directly to Sapporo.
